Cloudhub Lite

Build your own
CloudHub

Think of CloudHub Lite as being a simple productivity tool similar to a complex spreadsheet which contains many different macro’s that lets the user do more in less time. Those macro’s in that same spreadsheet ensure that actions are performed accurately time after time and minimizes user errors. Those spreadsheets are normally customized just for you so the chances that they will work for your friends company are unlikely.

You could recommend different products to your clients but then your hard earned reputation will be at the mercy of the company you recommended. You could decide to develop an application yourself but development time as well as maintaining a support team is costly. Then there’s the issue of hosting which should rather be left to the experts. You could also buy an “off the shelf” solution but now you might end up sitting with a headache of a solution you have no control over at all.

CloudHub is definitely not a spreadsheet but just like the macros we mentioned it provides you with a customizable set of automation features designed with the sole purpose of making it easier to make sales, manage your inventory, dispatch your products and report on your profitability. What makes CloudHub Lite so unique is that you can build your own version and only include those “macro’s” that you are going to use.

Example 1 :

Lets say you are a home based business selling on eBay. You only have a few products which you have on shelves in your garage and you can see if stock is running low every time. Would you really need an inventory system? You don’t sell on Amazon so you don’t need macro’s related to Amazon or Amazon repricing. All you want is a way to easily list your products on eBay, download the orders when they come in, produce shipping labels and upload the tracking number back to eBay.

In this case you would need the CloudHub Lite core module (Free) to store your basic stock item data (title, images, descriptions etc), the basic eBay integration module (£5pm) and the basic shipping module (£10pm). This means that for £15 a month you have everything you want that works for YOU.

Example 2 :

You have your own website with 100 products and you are processing these orders manually each day. You have decided that you now want to increase your sales by selling on OnBuy, eBay and Amazon. You are still working from your garage but since your products are small and many of them are similar you find it difficult to see your stock levels with a simple glance. You also know that you can get your stock from numerous suppliers and you change between suppliers based on who is offering the best price at the time. You know which supplier has the best price because they all give you price updates in csv file every so often.

As with Example 1 you will need the free CloudHub core module as well as the OnBuy, eBay and Amazon integration modules (£5pm each). You are still shipping products so you would need the basic shipping module (£10pm) but this time you need to keep track of stock (inventory module £10pm) that you have so that you can tell OnBuy, eBay and Amazon how much of each item is available for sale. Finally you get prices from your suppliers in csv files so instead of scrolling through three separate spreadsheets you need the purchase order module (£10pm) which allows you to set new default suppliers for each product in bulk as well as send them an email to replenish the stock you know you have sold through the inventory system.

Adding up all the modules you need you will see that you have built your very own system and it has only cost you £45pm. This is less than half of the amount you are paying in subscription fees for the marketplaces you have chosen to sell on.

CloudHub Lite breaks things down even further. Each module contains many macros of their own each performing different functions. In the case of inventory management for example you have the option to run out of your garage or you can have an option to run from multiple locations at the same time. You can even push it further to say that your stock items are in specific boxes on specific shelves, in specific rooms but why do you need all this if you are selling hand knitted hats for cats from your living room?
