At 247 Commerce we build e-commerce websites with Adobe Commerce, BigCommerce and Magento 2 (Community) and integrate them with ERP, Finance and CRM systems. Now entering our 10th year in business, we have built our reputation on the quality and consistency of our work. Our portfolio includes well-known names such as the British Museum, V&A, Oxford University, Chartered Insurance Institute and many more. Over the years we have also helped Brands and SMEs optimise their multi-channel marketplace sales on Amazon, eBay and 12 other marketplaces via our proprietary 247 CloudHub application. Having already built up a diverse and globally recognised client-list, in 2022 we plan to increase our reach even further as we expand into new markets and sectors.

To help with our ever-growing eCommerce projects, deployed across AWS datacentres and services, we are looking for a eCommerce Business Analyst to join our exciting and dynamic team.

The Job

As an eCommerce Business Analyst you will work with our Sales and Project team to gather and build requirements for our clients, shaping the content of the each project. This will ensure our clients have the best experience from the start and our project teams truly understand what is required to complete the client’s expectations. You will also work with the the marketing team to build roadmaps for our clients based on both yours and the teams research into eCommerce and market trends, defining what will help our clients grow within their sector and succeed in their digital journey. Finally, this person will 

Required Experience

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in e-commerce
  • Business process experience and understanding of business objectives
  • Confidence in Adobe Commerce, BigCommerce and similar eCommerce CMS
  • Previous participation in large REST/SOAP API integrations involving external tools and services (payment gateways, ERP, CRM and more);
  • Proficient in MS Excel (or similar) and web analytics tools (Google Analytics);
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills;
  • Excellent English communication skills.

Good to have

  • Another language to English, such as Arabic, Spanish or French.
  • Knowledge of JIRA, Magento and AWS
  • A genuine interest in ecommerce and the issues that affect online retailers.
  • Account Management

Responsibilities:

  • Gather requirements and managing client expectations;
  • Work with our Project Managers to refine client briefs and supporting documentation into compelling user stories and initial acceptance criteria;
  • Lead project backlog refinement meetings and make sure that user stories are well defined and understood by all members of the cross-functional team;
  • Check deliverables against business requirements and participate in sprint demos;
  • Make strategic recommendations to clients based on data Insights and best practices;
  • Design solutions that solve technical problems in conjunction with our Solution Architects;
  • Participate and lead technical workshops, client and prospect meetings.
  • Building client development roadmaps alongside our Marketing Manager

Please note, however, even if you do not have the above experience, we are willing to consider applicants who can demonstrate they are genuinely passionate about ecommerce and have knowledge within AWS to an equivalent professional standard.
